After finally transitioning elliottearls.com from a straight HTML based website to a CMS based system, we’re in the process of “back-filling” content. With this in mind, here’s footage from 2011 of Drew Manahan and Tenzin Phuntsok the Architects of the Earls summer studio assembling part of the building below the reflecting pools at Cranbrook. Architect-in-Residence William Massie can be seen guiding the construction. The studio was completed in 2012 now resides on Lake Leelanau in Northern Michigan. After construction the studio was featured in Metropolis Magazine.
