1990s Experimental Graphic Design

There was a particular movement within graphic design culture during the 1990’s that involved the development of baroque typographic forms, poetic language, independent publishing and authorship. Many of the major players in this movement came out of the Cranbrook Academy of Art design program, and were championed by Emigre Magazine. The work shown here was loosely affiliated with this movement.
